This update introduces the cup inclination measurement, now displayed within the template stamp. This improvement makes it easier to view and adjust cup inclination during planning. Additionally, we’ve set the default cup placement to 45º, streamlining your workflow and promoting consistency across plans.

Enhanced PACS Import
We’ve upgraded the PACS import functionality to improve your experience when handling medical images, making the process smoother and more efficient.

Selectable Neck Lengths
This feature offers a more detailed selection of head centers, significantly improving biomechanical reconstruction in surgical planning. The selected neck lengths are automatically documented in the report, ensuring greater transparency and aiding in informed decision-making. This new feature can be activated on the settings menu and, as we continue to enhance this feature, we welcome your feedback to help us refine it in future updates.

Customizable Cursor Keys
Our new customizable cursor key functionality allows you to assign specific actions to the cursor keys on your keyboard, streamlining tasks within the planning environment. This enhancement is designed to boost efficiency, making your workflow smoother and more intuitive.

We are thrilled to announce a series of exciting updates that will significantly enhance your experience and improve your workflow. First and foremost, we have made substantial improvements to our screenshot quality feature. Now, you can capture screenshots with stunning clarity and precision, ensuring that every detail of your planning and analysis is clearly visible.

In addition to improved screenshot quality, we are excited to introduce three new procedures in our pediatrics module: Caput-collum-diaphyseal Angle, Central Edge Angle and Acetabular Angle. These additions have been meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of pediatric orthopedic care, providing you with comprehensive tools to streamline planning for complex procedures. The new procedures are seamlessly integrated into the software, ensuring an intuitive and efficient planning process.

Lastly, we are proud to unveil our automatic landmark detection feature for the Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) procedure. This innovative tool uses advanced algorithms to automatically identify critical anatomical landmarks, significantly reducing planning time and increasing accuracy. Introducing our latest software update with an improvement to a recent feature: the ability to define screenshot quality. Users can now customize their screenshots to precise standards, whether they require high-resolution images for surgery or compressed formats for easier sharing.

In this software update, PeekMed now has Knee Osteotomy and Total Hip Arthroplasty procedures which automatically detect landmarks with pinpoint accuracy and reduce the number of clicks required by up to 10/12. This simplifies the planning process without compromising clinical validation. 

Additionally, we've expanded PeekMed's capabilities for pediatric orthopedics. One significant addition is the Hilgenreiner Angle pediatrics procedure, which helps assess hip dysplasia in children.

The post-planning report has been enhanced with higher-quality HD screenshots sent directly to PACS systems. There have also been comprehensive bug fixes to improve the overall reliability and user experience of PeekMed. 

The standout feature of this software update is the implementation of a dedicated pediatric subspecialty for limb deformity analysis. Tailored for pediatric measurements, this addition ensures precision and thorough assessments for our youngest patients.

We've also introduced the "Lock Pre Values" option in the general settings. Now, you can effortlessly streamline the measurement process by choosing to display both pre and post-values in the final report. This simplification eliminates the need for manual adjustments on a plan-by-plan basis, saving valuable time and ensuring consistency in reporting.

Additionally, we've added flexibility by allowing you to choose the file type for your report. Alongside these enhancements, we've addressed various bugs to ensure a smoother, more reliable user experience.

In our recent software update, we've refined your navigation. The search query functionality has been enhanced, accommodating special characters and grammar symbols for a more precise and efficient search experience. Also, all template configurations are readily available at your disposal, streamlining your workflow. 

Additionally, enjoy an improved Total Knee Arthroplasty, ensuring a smoother and more effective user experience. The update also includes other improvements, ensuring increased software stability.

The Total Knee Arthroplasty module has undergone a significant makeover, resulting in a more simplified and intuitive interface. This redesign streamlines the workflow, making it easier than ever to navigate and use. There was also an enhancement to the positioning of the stem in the Total Hip Arthroplasty ensuring a more precise and reliable placement.

Besides bug fixing, we've introduced changes to the download and configuration windows for the Templates, offering users enhanced customization and improved template organization through pagination. Another important feature is a new button that allows users to invert colors for 2D images.

Lastly, we've expanded the planning-saving options. Now you can save the original medical image, pre and post-planning screenshots, and the report in the DICOM format to a predefined folder, ensuring versatile storage in an industry-standard format.

Did we mention that we are big fans of software updates? Well, we already wrote about that.

In this release, we improved our update mechanism. Our next updates are still obligatory but you will have a time to perform the update. Another important change on this version is that you can define some default values in your settings, like the subspecialty and calibration method, according to your preferences. 

Some improvements have been made regarding PACS and the start planning window. Also, we added more template information to the renderer as a stamp, that is now visible during the planning.

New version déjà vu? We're back with even more improvements. The Automatic calibration input field was changed, so you can set your calibration more easily.

The Settings caption has been updated too - now, you have options for both Pre-values and Post-values, making it easier than ever to understand your data. Plus, an informative message to the 2D renderer (Image Library) was added so you can know when an error occurred. 

Also, a "Do not show this message again" checkbox was added to the “Medical imaging disclaimer” message, so you can focus on your work without interruptions.

And last but not least, the Plan Configuration window was improved by selecting a Planning Environment value by default. This means you can get started with your plan right away.

One of the most significant improvements of this version is the ability to save your password, making it faster and more convenient to access PeekMed without having to enter the password each time. We promise to keep it safe!

This version also comes with improvements in the advanced configuration of the THA procedure and PACS. The update process of the template database was improved as well, please check the email sent for further information. And now, you can set the date format as you want.

Is it too early to wish you a happy new year? May be so, but we’re preparing everything for a great start! This update focus, mainly, on improving performance and changing some things that were not working as well as we intended.

These preparations were quite broad, but mainly had an impact on PACS importation, the connection to the templates server, and knee and upper limb procedures.

It’s nothing too big, you know? Just some small adjustments, but which we consider necessary nonetheless. These updates allow us to make our system better. While some of the updates are big, others might be much smaller, which is the case for this one. You can learn more about why it’s important to update medical software on our blog.

After updating, you might notice improvements in the user interface. Improvements regarding the send to PACS have also been done.

We’ve improved the user experience when it comes to configuration messages.

Several improvements have also been made. These impact areas such as calibration, clinical procedures, log-in, subscription management, and templates database.

Some bug fixing has been done. It’s normal that you are wondering if there were bugs at all. These were minor, low-impact, and we found them ourselves. However, we believe in a continuous improvement process, and we don’t like to leave strings loose.

PeekMed can now speak the language of love! If you are a native or looking to learn french, you can now find the option to do so.

In case you’ve missed it, PeekMed is now an MDR Certificated device. This is great news! We’ve made some updates to be in accordance with the regulation. 

PACS preview and compatibility have been significantly improved. This includes the DICOM attributes.

We’ve also done several improvements across the board, including the automatic calibration feature. You will notice improvements in some procedures too, as well as the system design as a whole.

As for new procedures, we've added "Posterior Tibial Slope Correction" and "Acetabular Cup Position procedure".

PACS Integration and Auto-calibration Mechanism have also received improvements.

As you know, our system is fully integrated with all PACS. This update was mainly focused to make this process even better. As always, some bug fixes and improvements have been added.

There are several actions and tasks that can be automated to make your job both easier and faster. This update focused on making the whole process (more) automated, automatic and smarter.

The user interface received some adjustments, too.

Procedures such as THA, KO have also received several updates, allowing better performance when doing preoperative planning.
